Journal entries usually include the following information:

  • Date and type of notarial act
  • Names and signatures of persons involved
  • Numbers of ID cards presented as identification for verification
  • Optional signatures of individuals present + fingerprints

Every piece of documentation that is notarized is usually accompanied by a short form notarial certificate. These are the certificates that bear the notary public’s stamp and the commission expiration date.
