FAQs

Are there any additional notary fees?

Along with notarization fees and the number of signers and notarizations needed, Superior Notary Services may also have additional fees for certain notarial acts. These include:

  • Travel fees for mobile notaries who must reach a location outside normal operating areas in your state.
  • Online notary fees that offset the cost of using and providing online platforms where remote notarial acts happen.

Some fees may also be added to account for more complex legal documents and certain types of notarial acts. For a more detailed breakdown of potential fees, talk to Superior Notary Services.

Do you provide mobile & online notarization services?

Yes, Superior Notary Services’ primary role is providing individuals, couples, families, and businesses with reliable mobile notary publics. For added convenience and accessibility, we also offer remote notarizations completed by our professional online notary publics.

  • Real Estate: We notarize deeds, mortgage documents, affidavits of occupancy, closing disclosures, and more for home sales and other transactions.
  • Automobile: We notarize vehicle title transfers, bills of sale, odometer disclosure statements, lien releases, loan papers, and other types of vehicle financing documents.
  • Legal Documents: We also provide notarizations for contracts, power of attorney, wills, living trusts, custody agreements, court documents, and other legal documents for individual attorneys and law firms.
  • Structured Settlements: In personal injury cases, we provide notarization for structured settlement agreements.

Whether you want to meet at home, your local government office, or any other place and time of your choosing, Superior Notary Services will send a seasoned notary public to you.

Can I be outside the state or country when notarizing documents?

The ability to have your documents notarized, whether you’re outside the US or a particular state, largely depends on your notary’s state of commission. If you’d like more details, we cover this topic in our article on Notarizing Out-of-State Documents.

Several states are exceptions to this rule. For example, Maryland, Washington D.C., and Utah require all parties to be present in the state to notarize their documents properly. Some states, like Vermont, also have special rules permitting online notarizations but requiring documents to be physically signed.

Overall, if you are looking to notarize your documents while out of a given state or overseas, talk to Superior Notary Services first. We’ll help figure out a solution and get your documents notarized and signed ASAP.
